I have a set of Torq Thrust D's on my car. They are 15 x 8.5 with 3.75" of backspacing. The problem is I need more backspacing because my tire is rubbing on the outer wheel well lip while having close to 1.5" of clearance in the inside. American Racing doesn't offer any options in backspacing. Are there any shops out there that can modify a wheel somehow? I either need a 10" wheel with 5.25"-5.5" or about 4.5"-4.75" on my current wheel. I'd really like to keep this style of wheel. Thanks for any help.

If you don't want to buy new wheels you can always buy a spacer for the rear wheels. Some people like them and some don't but that would cure your problem. If you get a good quality billet spacer it should be just fine.

I didn't write my post correctly. :Dou:
I fixed it. I need the wheel to go inward toward the middle of the car.
Thanks.

I have a link to a guy that does custom work with wheels but it is on my computer at home. I will post it tonight after work.
