Thats great news. I always wanted one of those! I'll add it to the collection of unbuilt kits I'm getting to.

It was a pretty decent kit, by 1970 standards. The only real problem was that the wheelbase is off (too long), but it's an easy fix.

I don't know about the wheelbase being off. It looks pretty good to me eye.

The one I have is the original AMT "Motor City Stockers" release. Maybe the reissue has been corrected. The original issue's wheelbase was definitely a bit long. The front wheels sat too far forward, and the rear wheels were too far rearward; neither axle centered in their wheelwells as they should.
