72 wheel centers?? black or white

I have a 72 GS,
I have to replace my centers of my wheels.
Many Many pictures show the black centers.
But I've read that white is correct for my 72.
What is correct?

Actually they are silver not white. The ebayers all seem to think the black centers are for the GS they were for Regals 76-79 :Dou:

I was going to ask the same question.

I had heard that '72s were grey...silver is the same answer..

But I have never seen a set of silver centers anywhere...

Now what..?

Any leads on where to obtain..

actually, that is what is on my car right now.

I bought my car in October 02. Had them on it. I was worried they weren't correct and a couple of the outside plastic have cracking from age, or whatever. So, before I replaced with an incorrect set, i was looking into correctness. So, Im a lucky one, that still has the original set, just not perfect. I will try to post a pic tonight.
