My 70 455 convertible originally came w/ Firestone Wide Ovals (I'm 99% sure as an older photo I have of the car shows them). the largest size available is the G70 x 14". What was the OEM sized tire and how much wider is the G70 than the originals? Would they look fine on the car on all four wheels or is the G70 a bit large for the fronts?
G60's on 15's is my most logical choice, but they didn't come stock on this car and w/ the other options noticeably NOT present (ralleye ride package) I want to try to stick w/ what it came w/ from the factory...especially since it is numbers correct
Obviously I am looking for the most rubber I can get on the 14's in a repro tire that looks factory correct. Any suggestions?
