My plans are to

add A/C
convert to tilt steering,
convert to power windows and locks (keeping cranks if possible)
convert 350 to non smog built for torque and detail engine compartment
convert tranny to 200R4 maybe GV,
repaint, Midnight Green instead of Jade Green,
change wheels and tires to 18" custom made buick ralleye style wheels. 285/50/18 rear, 255/60/18 front, sound proof floors and doors
detail undercarriage
get the perfect stance using steel spring spacers
if possible add rear disc brakes
tasteful use of chrome
add custom gages in the dash face plates making it look factory
slight windows tint...
convert to posi with optimal gear ratio
add a passenger sideview mirror
custom leather seats
just dreaming.

I know what I have described is high blasphemy for purists who prefer complete originality but, its a lesabre custom, so I want to make it my own and bring it up to speed. Thanks for asking, if you can help me with any of the parts I need, I would be grateful.

Thanks

Gary,
Your car looks very nice. I had a '73 Riviera with just about the same style interior, except it was buckskin. I found a really clean 3 spoke sport wheel at the AutoFair and installed it. It looked really good.

Do up your car like you wish, it is, after all yours!

Now I don't remember what I did with the original steering wheel.

Ive decided to replace the 350 2bl with a 500 caddy built for torque. After I blow up the TH350 I will replace it with 200R4. Since Ill have so much torque Ill switch to the 9 3/4 rear and go with 2.73 gears. With that 200R4 Ill be at 1538 RPM at 70mh. I wont need the GV.
