What the heck is going on?
It doesn't matter where I call around here, nobody has a full set of 4 15" tire's in stock.
I'm trying to find a full set of B.F.G 255 60/15's, nobody has any in stock. Half the places say backordered, the other's say no longer available.
Local Firestone store doesn't have any Indy500 Firehawks in stock either in a 255 60/15, so I said how about some 245 60/15's?They said Disconitnued?
What's up?
I have B.F.G 265 50/15's on the front of mine (not the car in the avitar!), and I can't find them listed anywhere. I did find some in a larger rim, though.

With the new trend towards 17" and larger tires being the norm, it doesn't surprise me at all.

You ought to try to find any 13" tire! That's what my Skyhawk wears and they are nearly impossible to find.

Try tirerack.com. They're usually pretty good about having stuff in stock.
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Compare1.jsp?width=255%2F&ratio=60&diameter=15&startIndex=0&search=true&pagelen=20&pagenum=1&pagemark=1&RunFlat=All&x=19&y=10
Just checked and even they are backordered on half of the tires in that size.

Yup, Tires take up space too. Just order what you want, and in a day or so you'll get a fresh set.
Why are they always out of the Firestone 721's that I want!
Tirerack can have them shipped to a "preferred" store in your area. Sometimes it has to be that way. Just give them a heads-up.

What, you haven't changed to 24" rims yet?
Oh, you are so '80s.
(just joking of course, I also have a hard time finding my 205-75-14s)

Belle Tire has or can get Kelly Chargers. 245 or 255. I just bought mine 3 weeks ago. They work better for me than BFG's.

At least 10 in the warehouse we order from.

I had the same problem. Fewer and fewer brands and sizes available in 15's. Try and find something with a "t" or better speed rating. :af: Not possible except for drag radials.
