I thought this was a nice pic of my ride. Motivation was finally got garage finished up, drywalled, mudded and painted, wanted pics for Dad...then got carried away with lighting etc...amazing what some nice lighting can do to a photo! Cheers

looks nice ....:TU:

btw..that tire rack scares me ...do some chin ups on that thing ,see if it holds :)

reminds me of one I put together the same way many years ago ...bolted it up
dead on 2x4's and came down one night ....luckily no cars parked there at the time...

Looks great...As you can see, more lighting is something I need bad in my shop.
So I've been rearranging things lately, clearing out a corner, in hopes of building an interior room. I'll light that instead of the trying to light the whole shop.

Re Perfect garages...Tee Hee, I love irritating you guys with messy garages!!:pp

Re Tire rack...4 inches screws into studs...other end is into the cement wall.

Re GS with all the fix it tools! you have some nice equipement in there!!! Makes you look like you know what you are doing! Just kidding. I live in Vancouver area, land is at a premium, wish I had more room.

BIG challenge is that once you have your darn garage all fixed up and purtty you really do not want to take on any messy projects!!

What's your wheel and tire combo on your ride?? That looks bad ass!! I have a 67 Skylark also, and I swapped rearends to get wider wheels under the back. I have a set of Eagle Alloy Torq Thrust knock offs, that are 17X7's and 17X8's on an S-10 Blazer that I am thinking about putting on the Skylark. I love the stance of your ride too. Whatcha got for suspension?

Michael

I see your car sitting on what appears to be sheets of diamond plate. If not diamond plate, what is it, how do you like it and where can you get it. Thanks!

Sank you, sank you!

Zee Diamond Plate is available atz zee Costco Stoare! Heat iz rubberz mat wiz chic platz pattorn! 199.00 doollarsz I haz been dreekin canz you tell?

:beers2:

OK...Re tires and wheels: 9.5 by 17 in rear with 275/40 r17 = 27" with what i recall is a 5.5 backspace...front is 7 x 17 with 225/45r17 = 26 inch I beleive BS was 4 inches (sorry invoice no provide BS and my brain is a bit mushy). Suspension dropped 2 inches, acheived with three diff installs of freaking springs sets....end result was frt from one kit, rear from another..and battle to get it all sorted out. No suspension mods...and I need a rear sway in a bad way!
