WHOOOOOEEEEE! Your gonna suprise alota people with that thing. I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say we'd love to see some dyno #s. What's your comp ratio...you said you used a yard motor...did you change the pistons?

hey guys thanks for the words
the car went on the dyno before the turbo with a cam speced out for a 383 nonetheless i set it up on a 350 with stock valves as you read above and the car made 360rwhp 340 rwtq with about 11:0 the only thing i changed out now was i added head studs and the Rev kit with thicker gaskets .54 to be exact i was running a .26 before also pulled some meat out of the CC on the heads looking at a rough 10:0- 10:2 but will only see boost levels of 8psi MAX for now i have a 4 bolt block in the building for a nice 7:5:1-8:0 combo with completely forged internals dish pistons of course and built ultimately 396 out of the 350 base.. with one more step up on turbo size but my goal is to continue with this set-up. i will be needing however a stand alone computer system to run this practically though to hopefully see boost levels upwards of 25 + psi to make some serious dyno #'s for now this was just a 1st time build for me and from owning so many GN turbo buicks kinda stuck to me but theres nothing like a V8 baby..motor is a junkyard motor with stock hyper pistons right now as they come from factory with nodular cast iron crank and pink metal rods out of a 96' caddilac fleetwood with last recorded milage at 36k miles.

as for my dad i just recently bought him a 95' Impala SS Black with same LT1 and wil start doing a cam swap on it is as well with some other drivetrain mods.

Wow, very neat, and looks really comfy! What did you use for the pedal setup for the 6spd? And what kind of clutch engagement are you using? Hydraulic? Mechanical?

Would love to see a launch pic when you get it all together!

hey glen it sure is comfy thats the one thing i did not want to take away from the car was how comfortable it was plus i didnt want to empty the car for what?it still has full power seats and power windows and will also have funtioning Cruise control system.

i bought a kit off of ebay which is composed of like 5 different billet aluminum pieces all laser cut to precsion specs for the b-bodies. its called the F2B pedal bracket the SN of the person on ebay selling it is ScoobyDoo21 or something like that i am using what is the complete f-body set-up f-body pedals minus the gas pedal and hydraulic clutch system.

should have a launch pic for you by the end of next month.

thanks for the kind words bud.
