What is the basic proceedure to attach a photo that I take with my digital camera to a post that I am working on. ????? I need like, -do this , 2nd-do that, ect.

I'm going to assume you already moved the picture from your camera to the computer.

Also, you don't want to size of the file to be too big - the board has limits and you also don't want a picture that requires scrolling the page to see - so you may want to resize it in your favorite image editor.

1) Note where the picture is.
2) Create your post, or reply.
3) Insert image... obove the reply box you should see a little papperclip. It's by the smilie face button. If you hold the cursor over it you'll see the words "attachments." Click it.
4) Attach image... A window should pop up titled "Manage Attachments. You'll see empty text spaces with "Browse" buttons next to them. They are broken into two sections: "Upload File from your Computer" and "Upload File from a URL."
In the "Upload File from your Computer" section, choose a "Browse" button and click it.
5) Browse... Another window appears - "File Upload." Use this window to browse to where you put the picture (step 1).
6) Click on the picture, then click the "Open" button.
7) Upload the file... The window disappears, leaving you with the "Manage Attachments" window. One of the text areas now has the path adn file name of the picture you want to attach. At the bottom of the "Upload File from your Computer" section you'll see an "Upload" button. Click it.

You should then be able to post your message and have the image in it.

Sometimes it is better to put the image on the web and link to it in your post.
