Just picked up some M&H racemasters at the swap meet friday. :3gears: I plan to run them at the track saturday but have no idea about the pressure for them , any ideas? :Do No: They will be on Mary's 72 skylark with a455/400 2:56 posi.

Back in the day (:Brow: ) we used to run them at 7 - 9 psi; that's a 9" tire on a 7" wide rim in a low 12 second car....
Depending on how fast you are going I would suggest somewhere between 12 and 15 psi. Do a burnout and see if they are laying flat; run as much air in them as you can get away with...

On the M&H website they call for a 9 wide rim, I was planning on a 7 inch wheel but ? These are a 275/60/15.

I have L60-15 Mickey Thompsons that will be on my car if my wheels ever show up from Jegs. They're equivalent to 275-60-15s, I'll take pics. Wheels should be here this week, I only ordered them in September. I've run the M/Ts on a few cars, they work decent. The 2.56 gears will kill you since these are 28" tires. It should have NO problem hooking, will probably finish the 1/4 in 2nd gear. Try 18-20 PSI to start out.
