How do I find out if a set of rims is what originaly came on a 70 GS. I have heard rumors about j codes, wg codes, the quarter test, but what does it all mean, where are the stampings located, what codes should I look for and how accurate is this "quarter" test?:Do No: Thanks in advance!

I know Buick called the full-size chrome plated sport wheels by the name Road Wheels in '60's & '70's literature. And, I know that Buick listed a host of options on the GS line under the name "Rallye" (guages & suspension, etc.). But were the GS chrome wheels ever called Rallye wheels (like other GM division names)? I just thought the A bodies also used the name Road Wheels like the full size cars. Is this correct?
