Just got a repro for a 66-69 Oldsmobile Cutlass from Fusick. Although the outside is larger than the original Buick one the underneath where the ring attaches is a perfect match. Will look much better in my 70 GS than the torn one I have now.

Fusick 860-623-1589 Part#SS6661 Price $49.50

I think its been over a year since the parts place has mentioned anything about the boot. seems like there is quite alot of demand for it to. anyway, I'll be ordering the olds boot. Thanks for the pics :beer

Thanks for the heads up, I need to order one this week

Anyone planning on doing the ring, or is something already out there?

Frankly, there is nothing more "serious" looking than that shifter coming out of that "plain" boot in an otherwise beautifully appointed interior.

As much as I've coveted consolettes, and lived with just the "plain" boot for the last 15 years, I've now changed my mind. This, is better.

Nice work man!

Well said. I guess that's why I haven't put my consolette in yet. I searched for one forever, found one but it hasn't found it's way into the car and I'm not sure it will.

Pete,

I think the consolette looks spectacular. ...next to a pair of high heels. :kodak:

I really thought it was clear that I covet the consolette - sure wish I could find one for my car that wouldn't punch a hole in my budget for ladies' shoes I occasionally wear.:Brow:
