What converter do you all recomend?

Hey Guys,
I have a friend Dave M. (he had the blue Stage1 at Vegas last year). He's curious as to what converter he should get for his car.

Ported heads,
.30 over
hemi killer cam
headers
3.42 gears
stock intake

Went consistant 12.9's with the stock converter at Vegas.

It's a full weight stage at 3900 lbs (no driver)

Anyway, he's wondering what converters you guys have had good luck with.

I like the ATI 10 inch lockup style converter for my wifes GS and for that matter thats what I have in my car too...

ATI is good stuff......expensive,but good.

If cost is an issue I went 12.20's w/ a similar combo as you described at 3820lbs using TCI's 10" "Street Fighter".It's not a custom converter and sells for about $300.
