unsprung weight - tires

When I took my wheels off the front for the first time I was amazed at how light they are. I weighed them and the wheel and tire was 36 pounds!!!! Is that unusual?

Weird wheels too - Crager made by Weld. Modular, looks like their Draglites.

That is more a race bred wheel,that is one of the last "new" designs before cragar gave way to weld....
I believe those were called "superstar prostock"....
I'm a big fan of those wheels,It was a toss-up between those and the monocoque's that I bought,I figured that wheels I bought would easier to keep polished......

I don't think they make your wheels anymore but here's a link to a place that has some good closeout prices on them

Thanks Gary - Those look really nice! Mine are hard to polish, so I am gettnig used to the "brushed" look! :grin:

They are not made any more and I did have trouble finding any information on them.. Cragar kept saying they were Welds and Weld keep saying call Cragar!!!
