Ok, I'm in the process of cleaning up some 15x7 Buick Ralleys to replace the 14" steel wheels on my 67 Skylark. The 14" wheels currently have BFGoodrich Radial TA's in a 235-60-14. The front tires don't rub unless I really have the steering wheel close to max left or max right. I'm looking to put on the Radial TA's again in the 15" size and am wondering which way to go 235-60-15 or 235-50-15. I would even consider a 245 if it wouldn't rub too much (any 66-67 guys running 245's up front?). The car doesn't have skirts, so that's not an issue. Also, I want to be able to rotate them so they all need to be the same size.
I like the tires that are on the xXx GTO Ad that BF Goodrich advertises, but am not sure if they are 50 series or 60 series.
So, I guess I have 2 questions:
235 or 245?
50 series or 60 series?
Any thoughts?
