I picked up my new project car last Thurs. It will be quite an undertaking, but I plan on doing a frame-up restoration of it. The worst areas is probably the inside floor, core support and the driver's quarter panel behind the tire. The trunk floor looks surprizingly in good shape.
The car is pretty complete - has the sport mirrors, ralley gauges, ps, pb, AM radio.

Carl
I thought you would have finished the other project first!
Good luck with the new project!

Cool Project. Originally a green car? Dig those wire caps, man.
I am happy to make progress on one and collect parts for the others. In this case GS might stand for "got saved".

I believe the hood was trashed from a previous accident and a Skylark hood was put on. Good thing I have a spare with the hood scoops, grilles and plates. The car sat for a couple of years and I got it running. Eventually I will have to get a better core support. That one is rotten away pretty good.

Thanks for that number! 1 of 38
I've looked for stuff like that without success.
My 72 was originally Heritage green... where do you get your production numbers?
The lowest number I had was 1 of 601... always wanted to know how many were Heritage green. I wonder how many had AC?
BTW.. nice car Carl! Great find

Lots of research, Slaon documents, etc. Click on my webpage and scroll down to the bottom, some good info for 72 GS Vert owners.
