Hi..

I have just found this group..hope to share a lot of info.

I am both old and new to Buicks.

I had a '72 Skylark, stock, 350 2bbl..new in 1972.

I kept her for 18 years in the Northeast..until the rust finally forced (?) me to put her down.

Last few years, I decided I deserved to have another '72!!

So, now I have a '72 Skylark convertible, Flame Orange with a white top, white interior, black dash, GS hood, sport wheels, raised white tires..in pretty good shape, overall.

I am still looking for a few speciifc parts..that seem very hard to find. (3 way vacuum tee connector for emissions hoses, right angle plastic connector for vapor hose to air horn)

Also like to 'kibbitz' about 7'0-'72 Skylarks and '50s Buicks

Thanks for the reply. You are close!

The part you show is the vacuum switch from the engine.

The part I am looking for is a vacuum connector that connects three hoses above the switch.

One of the hoses is from the one of the ports of the switch.

If you have a service manual or assy manual, you can find what I am describing.

Most auto parts stores carry a wide variety of vacuum fitting tees.

If you're looking for an original one with no barbs, then you need to try your luck at a yard. Either that or someone might have one here. Try kpslynch....he has a few skylarks he's parting out.

I have had some people on the board who say they have one.

I am trying to finalize along with some other stuff.

I used an original GM part for this.. has to be said that it was really a tee-piece for some washer hoses, but it fit perfectly.. let me know if you want the part#, at least it's a GM part, right? :)
