Wheel mods

Just wanted to run this past some Buick people and see if it's a good idea or not. I have stock 84 or 85 Buick Grand National wheels and I wanted to make them look a little different. The modification is only electrical tape, but I was wondering if I should just take it off or make it a little more permanent. Looking forward to hearing some feedback.

I like the second picture alot more, your choice though. The blackouts don't seem right because it doesn't look like there is enough silver.
