Finally got mine from wheel vintiques. Only took around 4 long agonizing moths to get them LOL.:Comp: Here is a pic. won't install them till next week when new front tires come in.

You can see where one wheel rubbed on tire a little. Have to fix that little problem.

what size tires ... back spacing on wheels ... wanting a set of wides in the back of my 71 conv.

With those wheels, backspacing is going to be around 5.5".

Correct 5.5 backspace is what I ordered. Took 4 months to get them though.
I wonder, could wore out body mounts cause the wheels fit tight on one side and not the other. Anyway I ground enough off of lip to clear tire.

I have found putting my rims on other people's cars and my own that these cars were not exactly, ummmm, built to exacting standards. I've found that the variance is about 1/4" from car to car to car.

george, check your coil springs.

the body could be misaligned from the factory. u can re-align it. rotted body mounts can cause your problem as the body can shift on the frame.
