can someon tell me what tires these are?

They look like what are called "Port-a-walls". They sit on the surface of the tire and are held in by the wheel itslef. They are basically able to be removed and put on any tire you want. you can get them at JC Whitney.

A friend of mine had tires with white walls that might even be wider on his ´59 Cadillac conv, they were Coker Tires. Don´t know if they still sell them though. :Do No:

thanks for the replies. is there a huge difference between bias ply and radials? cus there is a huge price difference.

Bias tires have their belts under the tread, going around the tire. Radials have their belts going across the tread. Bias tires are correct, but radials are better driving tires.

Radials are probably much better at bringing her to a stop too.
