I found a junked '71 skylark that has a mostly complete body about 50 miles from me. Will some of the body parts fit my '72 skylark? The guy wants 500 and I could put some of it to good use if it will work on my car. I need mostly front end stuff; grill, bumper, core support, etc. If it will fit then the $500 alone will cover what a core support costs seperatly. What do you think?

yes the core support fenders are a direct swap. The bumper fits with no alterationssame part without the rubber trim holes. The grille , headlight doors and hood trim all work together for a certain look and while it will bolt on it would look strange with mixed parts . So you can take everything from the 71 and install it on the 72 add the 71 rear and you will look just like a 71

What colour interior in the '71? I'm looking for a couple pieces of trim in '71 Sandalwood.

Thanks for the response Staged.
Mr. Craig- I dont know what shape the interior is in as I was primarily looking for front end parts, but once I find out I'll let you know and if it's something you need we can work out a deal. I'll try to get out there next friday and I'll let you know.
