Guys,
I know that the bolts can be boogers, but I've got bigger problems. I just started putting my headers in and the are hitting up against the front frame cross support. I got the passenger side in and even tougher was the drivers side, had to loosen steering box:af: . Now here is my question? On my motor mounts there are 2 sets of holes, I have the bolts running through the top ones, is it possible to run the bolts through the bottom ones? I figure if it worked it would free up about 1/2 inch each way. If this isnt the solution than I guess i'll get out the ball peen hammer. I was hell getting em in and I dont want to take em out again. I am 1/4 to possibly 1/2 inch to high for header to line up on drivers side up front, but it is up in there. :ball: . If you guys have any ideas let me know especially if it means just lifting motor up:Smarty: .
Thank Guys,
Steve
The headers are on my 71 GS Skylark 455 Turbo 400
