1955 Headlight Bezel

I just sent my two Bezels out for chrome and the chromer said that after stripping, pitting on one of them was too much to fill in.

Wondering if anyone knows of where I might find one. Already tried the Buick Farm and Old BuickParts. Saw one on Ebay but the owner was not sure if it came from a 55.

Getting pretty warm here in Jersey and she needs to go for a ride......

There were two types of headlight bezels in 55 one for the Super and Roadmaster, which had the turn signal built in, and one for the Special and Century, which was simpler and did not contain the turn signal.

I might have an extra set in a box in my basement. Let me check later tonight and get back to you. I know I collected several solid core sets when I was looking to rechrome mine. Not sure if I sold them all off or not.

Mine is a 55 century 4 door coupe (no center post) I believe it was a half year model. It does NOT have the signal built in. I'll try wheatbelt.....Thanks guys!! Grnlark, keep me posted on your inventory

I have one ring left that is in GREAT overall shape for a core with the exception of one teeny dent. A chrome shop should be able to tap this out no problem. The ring is not cracked or chipped. The little dent just made a small crease. As far as pitting, it is very clean. Let me know if you're interested. If not, no sweat. Shipped to your door regardless of where you live $35.00. If you want, print the pics and ask your chrome guy about it.
