My car has no fan shroud. I figured that would be a good place to start with my overheating problem.

What year/make/models will interchange? I need to broaden my search. Are 61-64 all the same? Did all cars with nailheads those years have the same radiator and fan shroud?

Or, does anyone know where I can find one, new or used?

Thanks!

I found a fan shroud from a 64 with a 215 cid with AC. You don't suppose it will fit, huh? Actually, I thought the 401 was the only engine offered for 64.

So what do you think? Any chance that the fan shroud from a 64 LeSabre with a 215 cid and AC might fit my 63 with a 401 and AC? I guess if they used the same radiators, but since it's a totally different engine, I don't know if they would. Does anyone know? I need to know ASAP so I can get it before someone else snags it.

Thanks!

They list only one part number for the all the full size cars in 63 including the lesabre in my 63 Buick Parts manual so I would grab it.

Not to contradict Kqqlcat but I doubt it would fit. It's probably for a Special or Skylark which are quite a bit smaller than the full size cars. I don't think they'd use the same radiators. The only way to tell for sure is to get the dimensions of the one for the '64 215 and see if it would fit.

Also, if your seriously considering spending the $140 for a shroud from Cars Inc you might want to consider swapping in a universal aluminum radiator. Summit Racing sells one that is almost drop in for about $160. In the long run that'd be a lot more efficient at transfering heat. It would also look pretty sweet it originality wasn't a concearn.
