The Best Western is sold out, so the Amerihost up the street is the next available block of rooms, about 600 yds north of the BW. You can call them direct at 419-663-1922 there are rooms blocked there for Buick RaceDay also! Same owners as the BW. If that overflows we have rooms at the Comfort Inn in Milan, OH about 3 miles away. Looks like the BIG one! The manager for the hotels is totally enthused with helping us out, and even claimed we are their BEST customers! Flyers and pre-entry forms have been mailed in the last few days, with just a few more to go out tomorrow. See you soon! Roberta

I just made my reservations at the Amerihost a couple days ago and was told that I got the last room. When did you get the extra 20 rooms? They also said that there was no discount for the Buick Race.....hmmmmmmmmmm I'm betting that they just didn't want to give me the discounted rate. :confused:

Rumor has it that the Amerihost has also been sold out, but we have another hotel, the Comfort Inn, in Milan about 3 miles from the other hotels and even closer to the track available, as well as the Holiday Inn in Sandusky, about 15 miles away. If you are having trouble getting a room, please ask for Jen Arnett the manager and ask for alternatives. I have left her a message to make sure her folks find rooms for everyone, if you can't find a place that meets your needs, another option is the Econolodge in Norwalk (419) 668-5656, trailer parking is not easy but it is across the street from the Best Western, there is no block of rooms, it is a 1st floor only motel, but the rooms are clean, but small as an alternative! Well.....looks like this is going to be a great year. I've heard from a little birdie that there are going to be some really quick quick cars there this year. Every year it just gets better and better.

Even though I'm not fond of the month of May, being my birthday month, I'm totally ready and looking forward to it this year. It's just to bad that my car isn't ready! Guess someone better start moving and getting it ready.....right Denny?

Look forward to meeting some new friends at the BPG test and tune and hugging old friends :)
