Max tire w/o tubs

Hi, whats the max rear tire for a 65 skylark with stock wheel wells. Smaller diameter, just can I get 295s in there. Also whats the backspacing need to be.

I'm going to be testing the limits on my '64 Skylark. I don't know if this will help but I had a '64 Chevelle and fit 275 60 15's on 15by8" wheels with 4.5" backspacing with no rubbing. It looked like I could have gotten a bit more tire with a bit more backspacing since I had more room on the inner sidewall to the stock wheelwell. A 295 might fit but it would be really tight. Keep in mind the same advertised tire size from different tire companies may be different.
