posting pictures with ad

Hello all,
I have placed my car for sale in the classifeds already, but I am having trouble attaching pic's and putting a picture for the image of the ad. All of the pic's I've tried have jpeg extensions, and when I try to use one for the image, I get a error message stating that there was a problem with the image. I read that there should be a "manage attachments" button when posting, but there isn't one that I see for my ad. Thanks for any help on this!

When inside the post edit window, you have to click the "go advanced" button to get the attachment mechanism back again.

I'm not seeing a "go advanced" button anywhere. I tried to just load an image for the ad, but I keep getting the "there is a problem with your upload" error when I try. It is a jpeg image I am trying to upload so I don't see wy it is fighting me...........
