hi guys i have a 1958 buick century that i bought in Idaho and imported to the uk last year i'm having trouble with the dyoflow trans it wont take up drive from cold i have to let it run for 5 mins then its okay so i'm looking for a spare trans to rebuild as i dont want to take the car off the road i just want to change the trans one for one so what i would like to know is what years trans will interchange as just looking for a 58 in the uk is very limiting if anyone has any info it will be a great help.

Simple question: did you check for correct oil level ?
Ask Mike Hogan (buickbonery) in this forum for a used transmission. He helped me a lot with my 56 dynaflow.

hi yes the fluid level is ok its also very clean and smells good drives ok when warm just thought it would be nice to rebuild a spare trans and swap them over.
