can you put 430 rocker on a 455 with putting a hole in the head gasket and changing the push rods?

If you could please help me with this. I'm trying to finish my motor so the car can go back to the body shop. to have the body and fenders put on. Will put pictures on as so as it on the frame.

The required hybrid pushrods are sold by TA. They are 5/16 on one end (for the 455 lifters) and 3/8 on the other for the (400/430) rocker cups and are the oil thru design. The upgraded 455 oiling is better than the earlier 400/430 design. This way you won't have to monkey with any oiling holes. Personally I would leave the holes there so the rocker shafts get oil. Hopefully DaWildcat will chime in. He uses 430 shafts on a 455.
Contact TA for this swap. Get 1 piece pushrods if you can after you determine the proper length needed. Some guys have had problems with the adj. type loosening some have not. I myself never used them and have no opinion.

The 455 only has the oil supply hole drilled on one side . there is no easy way to retain the 400-430 style oiling on a 455 block. the best way is to use the later style lifters and get the above mentioned hybrid pushrods. the 430 rockers are have a 1.6 ratio vs the later 1.55 ratio.
