Email Issues!!

As far as I know, no service provider or host has v8buick on a blacklist. Best thing to do is get email addresses from your internet provider or pay for a good one. I have checked Quest and Comcast's black lists for both domain and IP, v8 is not on any of those lists. The server is sending to all valid email address, that has been a big problem here. Everyone check their email address to be sure they are good.

I get immediate emails when anyone posts in this technical support forum along with any server errors, it's always worked for me.

If you know of any paid providers that have us on their black list, please copy and paste the error or information here.

I would also like to make an offer to everyone. Lets put it in a poll first. Anyone who has donated $25.00 or more each year to the board may request a free V8Buick.com email address. Yes / No

Everyone who has already donated is in!!!

Giving them out free without a donation is not an option.:laugh:

It will take some effort on our part to make this happen.

Yahoo, Hotmail and aol all have problems with v8buick.

I'll contact them to resolve the issues.

It's really strange because I have a bunch of users waiting for email confirmation from Yahoo, Hotmail and aol. Yet I have users registered within the last week using the same providers.

Please also look into "sbcglobal.net" email users. I have used them for years and never had a problem until 5/30/08 when the emails stopped coming, but only from the v8buick board. :Do No:

Yahoo and sbcglobal.net along with AT&T are the sames providers. I have informed AT&T of the problem. Hopefully they will help.

Anyone else not receiving emails should report this to their service provider and have V8Buick removed for their blacklists. I have had a hard time getting a hold of anyone at services providers without an account.

Also, we have not had enough interest to consider email accounts at V8Buick.com. We will not be supporting this feature in the future.

Mike, perhaps there may be more interest if the poll heading was maybe " V8Buick email addresses?" or something like that. The "email issues" poll may have been too vague, and not attracted enough guy's, and gal's interest to participate. Also, maybe put the poll in the Bench, there's a lot of activity there. Just a thought. I'd really like a V8Buick.com email addy, myself.
