Anyone planning on going to this? I've always wanted to put one of my cars in, but I never had anything "show-worthy" until now. The show covers the downtown area of Wichita July 12, 2008 6pm-midnight with a cruise following.

If you do go, and happen to see a red 71 Mach 1, 429 Super Cobra Jet, 4 speed car, very early VIN, could you please take a pic or two of it.:kodak: It would probably be the one I used to own.

One of these years, I intend to visit the current owner.

Sure do.. the only one I have at present :TU: Right now it's in the middle of getting the headliner finished up.

Are those seats stock? they look really....cushiony. lol

How is the 4bbl workin out for you? Whats ur setup? Intake and carb wise

The seats front and back came out of a late 90s Cadillac Deville . 6-way power, heated leather - yup, very cushiony :bglasses:. It took a lot of modding to get 'em in there.

It's a stock 4-bbl manifold with an Edelbrock 600cfm carb - way too small, but that's what I bought the car with. It runs well and has good power over a 2bbl, but since my 600 is smaller, it runs lean and it's not getting all the power out of the engine that a 750 could. If you do the swap, use a 750 q-jet.

Yea i didnt think that those were normal, but they look sweet.

I think im gunna go with the stock 4bbl intake as well. Ill make sure i get at least a 750 :TU:

Dang sounds nice. Sometime far down the road, i wanna get the twin turbo set up for either the 350 or a 455
