Looking for a lost '73 BB trans

I just bought a 1973 Stage 1 Century, but it has the wrong transmission (AA code), I've been told the correct matching numbers trans was last seen in the Independence, MO area. It should be a BB code with the number 106639 on the tag. Can anyone help me? Thanks, Pat
