:Do No: Asking for a friend in the club. He just picked up a 37 Pontiac coupe,(crumpled front end from a falling tree) and would like to know if the 37 Buick front clip is a direct bolt-in? We found a good one in a local wrecking yard on a Buick coupe that is wasted from the cowl back. From what pictures we've seen, the bodys appear to be identical.:Do No:

Probably not; - everyone was using a different body in those days, and Buick was just starting with the "Turret-Top" all-steel body, which was different from Pontiac. You might have better luck with a Chevy, but the Buick is definitely out. It would have a longer hood, longer fenders, and a different crossmember, and totally different front suspension.

Try a hot-rod forum; - those guys are wizzards at matching up sheet-metal.

Dont know about the front end parts but the back end is all the same on buick,pontiac,oldsmobile.....i've been looking for a straight trunk lid for a year now for a 37 olds. I was told 37-39 were the same, the fronts are probabally a little different with the grill and sides of the hood but the back of the cars are the same(so i was told)?

Thanks for the replies gentlemen. :) Some People!!! You tell this old man (my Buddy) something can't be done, and he'll try to prove you wrong. :bla: He's decided to try it anyway. Says he just can't pass up the deal on the Buick front clip!! "I'm getting it for cheaper than scrap!!":TU:
