Front clip removal tips ?

I figure the bumper and the grill must come off first, but what is the best way to remove the clip ?

I've only done it once , but get a friend , do the hood first , bumper , grille , inner fenders and fenders can be removed at the same time . Just take the inner fenders loose from their mounting , but not from the fender itself . Use some penetrating oil a day or two ahead of time on any bolts you can reach . Also have a sawzall with some spare blades handy for rusted bolts . Mine broke the captive nut and needed to be cut to get the fender off .Write down what shims went where , and how many . You'd be amazed at how well it went back together doing this . Lined itself up nice. A good supply of frosty beverages also helps .:beers2:
