A few members here know that my wife recently got a cancer diagnosis . A major shock for both of us as we had no symptoms showing . We have been to several doctors so far and the surgeon wants one more test before surgery and then radiation for about 6 weeks , 33 sessions . doctors said it was caught early and we have a very good chance of beating this . She and I have been through a lot in the last 36 years but this has really knocked our legs out from under us . We will beat this ,but it will really hurt me to see the pain and sickness she will have to endure , I will suffer right along side of her . Those of you that can please include her ( Diana ) in your prayers .
Thanks , Mike

Hi Mike, Sorry I didn't get to this sooner. I was diagnoesed with throat cancer Feb. 2006 and went through 7 weeks of radiation and chemotherapy 5 days a week. I was in remission from that until recently. They have recently found more cancer in my brochial tube which is the same type of aggressive cancer that was in my throat. I start chemotherapy Tues. the 26. The first is for 5 hours. Not sure how many treatments I will have yet until Tuesday. I feel for your wife and you sincerely. Radiation is not easy or is chemotherapy. If you or your wife need someone to talk to or contact to help you through this PLEASE feel free to contact me any time day or night!!!
I will PM you my contact information. The Lord will get you through this, just ask! Feeling for your wife and you and prayers and thoughts are with you from here!!! :TU:
PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO CONTACT ME ANYTIME DAY OR NIGHT!!!
God Bless!!!

P.S. Tried to hit 'cha up but my phone drops 9 out 10 calls. And I lose the other one in middle of a sentance. So P.M. AT WILL!!!!

I'm new to this forum but this thread title caught my eye. My mother went through this about 3 years ago. Yes it was tough and ocassionally painful for her but I think it was harder for my dad to see her like that. Just be strong for her even when you don't feel like dealing with it anymore. Try to remember this is about what she is going through and don't take anything personally.
This might be awkward for you guys but my mom loves talking to people about what she went through and what to expect if you guys need someone to talk to, I can give you her number in PM.
God be with you guys.
