Ok fellas, we're working on our first Buick- a 55' Super Riviera. I am in the process of tearing down the 322 for a complete rebuild. Where / who should I consult on all of the hard parts such as, bearings, rings, gaskets, etc?

My local engine shop carries alot of stuff, but no old Buick stuff. I checked out Kanter Auto Products but they appear to be on the pricey side? I understand I may not have many options, what are they?

Any help from the Classic Buick Community would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks- Jon.

I know there is a company called Egge that has a lot of parts for older engines. Price wise, not sure, but I'd be surprised if they were that different than Kanter.

It's been my experience that these engines are just expensive to rebuild, no matter what you do. Maybe somebody with more experience can help out.

Thanks man. I just called Egge & their prices are much nicer & they have everything I need. Plus, they're close to me in Santa Fe Springs.

Glad you found it- talk to Sammy at Egge- good dude.

I also heard of another source in TX- Terrill Machine. Supposedly a good source & reasonable.
