Enclosed trailer set up? Anybody have pics?

We just bought a 24' enclosed trailer for the car, and I am trying to figure out how to arrange all the stuff we haul.

Does anybody have a trailer with all the goods in it that you could send some pictures? Or any suggestions?

I've just started to ge tmy back together(i bought it with a leaky roof.)

The first three are the day it hit the driveway. the next is my work in progress. i still have a bunch of trimwork but it is close to done.

I have an older craftsman roll a round with some really nice aftermarket casters that i will keep in there. I have etrack shoring beams that i must relocate for the tires(previous owner raced Mercedes, and hood is lower than my buick). I made an area in front of the generator door (under the 100A service) for the generator, and inteand to make a pin type latch for the generator/wall. since the pictures i have put in my can holders, strap hangers and retractable drop light. I need more D Rings and e track.

The inside was bare plywood when I got it; the walls are .030" aluminum sheet, Home Depot cabinet and vinyl flooring.

As far as suggestions - I wouldn't do the black/white checkerboard floor again. The white part is just that - white - and it gets dirty really fast. I have seen some trailers with more of a greenish marble type coloring and I will probably use that when I replace the floor.

Some guys are using spray on bedliner for the floor as well. I don't prefer it but just a thought...

We are fitting a 4 wheeler in there also, so may put shelves in half the front and corner.

Yes I would definately put a winch in the trailer . Two good reasons ; #1 if you break drivetrain , much easier to load ; #2 winch the car in and you don't have to worry about getting out of it and or scratching the door .

Here's my winch setup...it works only if you have a "V" nose. I've seen them mounted on the side with a pully in the middle also.

Guy , That looks real nice . Winch is out of the way and safe so no one can can get hurt on it . Also how long is your trailer ?

I like the trailer. It's 26' long, and taller than most. Also it's higher than normal (off the ground) so I have zero issue's with the back end bottom scrapping.

Being so high you would think its a handfull when windy...it's not all all.
If you take a look at the outside pic, you'll notice the wheels are spread apart more than the typical trailers...this helps in "tracking" when going down the highway. Don't use any type of sway control nor any load leveler.
Can go down the highway at 90mph with one hand on the wheel and the other sippin coffee. (really:laugh: )

What size truck are you using ? I have a 1 ton dually so I should be OK with a trailer that size or larger . I actually want a goose neck for the extra storage .

Very nice. We have a 24' but no V nose so I guess I'll have to mount it in the front, inside of the trailer.

Mike, I pull it with an F250 super Duty 6.0. No dually...

Mark, I would think that should work, and if you build cabinets on the front wall you could still hide the winch in the cabinets:bglasses:

That is what I was thinking. I'll put the 4wheeler on the left side to the front, and build a cabinet on the right side and hide the winch in the bottom.

Oop's, didn't see your question untill now...

The floor is 3/16"(?) polished aluminum, so all I did was bolt it through that and a 12"x12" plate under the floor. Plus it's mounted in the V where the floor is stronger...doesn't move a bit:TU:
