1970 Dash

I know this topic has been discussed already, but I can't find the thread. I'm taking a 70 dash out and I can't get the fan and temp knobs off. In the other thread someone advised using an allyn wrench on the temp knob, but I've tried every size and nothing works.

The entire climate control portion of the dash bolts out from behind the bezel. The knob does not need to come off, and the dial switches screw out once the plate is off.

I have taken many dashes out and have never taken the knobs off the heater controls. No need as said above
