A guy just came by the shop this morning and told me that the new dragstrip on the Barona Reservation has been paved. Word is some local cars have already tested it. Timing is not set up yet, but they have the clocks ready to install. Initial report is it will first run 1/8 mile and open up the full 1/4 later.

Thanks Skip. I was not aware of that one. I knew they had been running midgets or something on an oval there, but didn't know they were doing a dragstrip too. That's GREAT!

Their website http://barona.com doen't mention it, but there are phone numbers there that would get information I'm sure.
