Nice comparison. I think HW nailed the shape best. Doug runs the "Tales of Toy Cars" website. Lotsa neat articles there for the small scale hobiest.

Help! I picked up one of these (white '70) on ebay some time ago for next to nothing--10 or 15 bucks. I was looking for something else and stumbled on it. Anyway, mine says WELLY #2433 MADE IN CHINA on the bottom. The hood only opens about 1.25 in. (front), but the inner fenders and radiator cover are flat black. The engine is red with chrome valve covers, and the booster is gold, with a white ws washer bottle and plastic air cleaner. The headlights are white plastic, as are the parking lights. The marker lights are red all around, but the tail lights are red plastic.

Not sure if this brand is in this comparison. Did I buy an oddball model?
