Monogram 70 GSX kit with real metal parts kit.
I saw the auction come and go, then it was an invalid item.
Searching my cache I found it again and thought id ask the seller.
Well the buyer was deadbeat.
I foolishly made him an offer to not relist it.
I got the kit today and it is what it is.
The model kit itself is all there though its all lose parts.
But the extra metal parts kit is real.
Made by Performance Detail Products [for auto models]
part number DK-4 writen on it.
Has a nice instruction page that says copyright 89-90
And has a small sheet of think metal parts for like the shifter plate, grill area, license plate frame, grill logo, door lock, steering wheel spokes, package tray speaker covers and so on.........
Soon as battries charge up Ill get a pic.
Though I am already building a Revell GSX kit and won't be touching this one.
As I now remember why I stopped doing them. I don't have the skill to do it right but don't want to slap it together.
So I may have to unload this Monogram kit with its special thin metal parts add-on kit to someone who is a pro builder who can do it all right.
