Currently trying to figure out what the best wheel and tire size will suite my likes and wants. I have not yet seen many buicks with 8-11 inch wide tires so hopefully you guys can help me out.. Im looking to get that mean pro stock look without having to modify the chassis.. thanks in advance

I have 28x12.50 ET Streets mounted on 15x10 Weld Prostars with 5-1/2" backspacing on my '70 Skylark pictured below. I had to trim the outer wheel well a little but did not have to do anything else to get them to fit without any rubbing. They definitly fill the wheel well.

15x 10's with 5 inch backspacing and 295x50x15 BFG tires. These were on my 70 Skylark as well, until I painted the rims and used them on my 73 GS. I have 15x10 Weld Draglites on the 70 car now..

Why stop at 11 inch?

I was able to fit 28x12.5 inch mickey thompson sportsman pros under the stock wheel well with a little bit of massaging.

15x8 buick rally rims with 4 inch backspacing.

It is a very tight fit, and i have to slow way down to make a turn. But it sure does hook up and go when theres strait roads.

Very Nice cars....What are your backspacings, any side views tyler if you dont mind...quick stage one, got a bigger pic.. side view would be best if you dont mind aswell, did you have to trip or just push the inner lip quickstage1, think if you run a 11inch tire on that 10inch rim there will be no need to cut the lip or massage it.. keep em coming, thanks to all. Merry Christmas and a happy new year...

Its going to be Inferno red crystal pearl.. Its off a 2008 dodge charger, im trying to decide on going either, pro touring look, or just pro street look without modifing the chassis.. Right now im leaning more on the pro touring look,i wonder if i can find a company that makes 17" inch buick ralleys...i know ive seen them somewhere but i know their custom made.

Here's a few pictures I took today. They are not the greatest but it's been raining all day so I took them in my garage. I just had to roll the fender lip to get them to fit. I've had this size tire/wheel on the car for 5 years now with no problems at all. In the past I have ran 28x11.50 ET Streets mounted on 8" wheels with 4-1/2" backspacing with no mods at all. I also included a picture of my '72 Skylark with them.
