I removed the 340 last weekend..

He will get new seals, timing set, waterpump, radiator, hoses, paintjob etc.

Small Update;
there was a ticking noise on the passenger side, i heard it after repairing my leaking heat riser.
Its a broken rocker; i also found one wrong pushrod. Unfortunately the shipping time for the rocker is about 70 days..i have to find another source..

Their shop is going to be closed for 2 weeks after Friday, so call them tomorrow to get it out this week.
Thanks, but it was to late for TA..but I recieved some rockers today from a german shop. They are without these little plates, just one part..
I pulled out the crank..needs a service.

I got the radiotor back from the radiator builder; the grid and one body were renewed..Also got some parts back from sandblasting / powdercoating.

What the hell did you use on the tranny?! I used a wire brush and some serious cleaners and degreasers, mine doesnt look half as good!
Diesel and some spraycans of Brake Cleaner..:cool:

What did you use on your aluminum parts? Or is that just media blasted?:TU: I used that Gunk cleane brake cleaner and every other chemical in my garage along with multiple types of brushes and not even close to those results.
They were all media blasted, aafterwards they were painted with VHT FlameProof Coating..
