View Full Version : A few old cars at the yards..
When I'm out at the yards I always try to take a few pics of the older stuff that I stumble on.
No attachments??? I tried re-attaching the pics, but no luck. Maybe they'll show up in a few minutes?

Is this the Memory Lane yard in San Bernadino Valley?

No, this is a regular pick-a-part yard.
Memory Lane moved down to Long Beach about two years ago.

I would check that Olds 98 for a p.trunk set-up...easy resell.
Also, check the 66-70 cars for deluxe seat belts...maybe the Caddy has them...I think I saw a 67-8 Cad and a 71-2 Cad????

Hey EEE, you Cali guys got it made. Live in Pa and agree that with the guy from Ohio when he says there are cars that are less solid on the road back east! Go to California frequently for work, to Oxnard. Always go to a couple of decent pick-part yards in Santa Paula while I'm there. I always send stuff back Fed Ex when I'm out there. Last time I dragged a door to the Fed Ex Kinkos for my 79 REgal and shipped it home. I tried to find Memory Land and drove to San Fernando but it was gone. How far and hard of a drive is it from Oxnard to Long Beach? Going back out to Oxnard in January!
I don't go to Memory Lane more than once or twice/year, since usually things cost money there. There are quite a few pick-a-parts to visit where prices are better, but of course the chance of finding something isn't too great. The distance is an easy google search, should only add another half hour to your drive.
