I pulled the wheels off my 69 wagon tonight. theyre 14 inch rally wheels, a 6 is stamped into them so I'm assuming there 6 inch. The backspacing is right between 4.25 and 4.5. Is that a normal backspacing for a 69 or is a wagon different. I assumed a 6 inch wheel would have a 3.5 inch b/s. The wheels fit perfectly between the fender lip and frame rails. Tires are 225s. The reason I'm asking is that I want to get 16 by 7 or 8's. If the 6 inch fits good i'm guessing I add 1/2 inch backspacing for every inch wheel increase right.? thanks, pete
