Vin# 434371H90930. What assembly is the "H" stand for. Where were
Stage 1's assembled. Thanks for your help.

H is Flint but is 1971 another plant at least also made stage 1 cars. So it does not help in ID ing the car as a stage one except to say a stage 1 cannot be excluded based on plant.
Also the earlier numbers mean 2-door hardtop GS 350 and GS 455. So from this you cannot tell even if it is a 455 car.

Another way to say it is that it's a GS-350 which could of been equipped with the 455 option

Thanks guys. So 43437 does indicate that it is at least a GS and not a skylark ?

Look for BB trans codes, look for BB steering collumn! Without paperwork those are the only way I think you can tell and they are not always perfect unless you have the matching BB or OW trans in 71
