I did see that. I will hopefully be in attendance with the GSX like I was last year. A cruise-in somewhere in the KC Metro will definetely be a good time early this year. I did not even go to a cruise-in last year. I think there are sevaral people in the area I don't really know. It should be a great time.

Might be fun to do the Louisburg show, if the weather is nice, be a good time for a road trip.

My father has enjoyed that show for several years now. Always enjoy doing shows with him.

Is the louisburg car show a good one, that is a short drive from my house...many buicks?

Are you thinking the Louisburg show or the Ottawa show. The Louisburg show is about 150 cars and typically only a handful of Buicks. the Ottawa show is about a 1000 cars.

Hi,

Last year at Louisburg Car Show, my 70GS, Mark's 70 GSX, a 66 Gran Sport, and a 68 LeSabre were there. Don Lob's car was the only Buick to win a plaque!! The show does a peoples choice top 20.

Hi,

Most cruise nights are Saturdays. I go to downtown Blue Springs, MO the first Sat. of each month, around 160 cars show up. Sometimes 4 or 5 Buicks, the first cruise will be May 2, 2009.

How about cruise in at Windsteads on 103 and Metcalf Saturday May 16th or Belton Cruise in May 23rd?

Mark, I could do either of these cruises, when is the next winsteads cruise? Lets get one on the calendar, and I would love to see some other buicks.

I am downtown KC, would like to go but the car is still "in progress". Sounds like fun though.

Winsteads is the 2nd and 3rd Sat of each month. There are others in Olathe and Lenexa that are Tues, Wed nights. It typically takes me 45-60minutes to get home after getting off at 5 so I would not make a workday cruise till around 6:30-7. There are also cruise in every Friday night at Longbranch Steakhouse at 91st and Metcalf.

The Belton Cruise is typically really good. Usually a few hundred cars show up.

Hi Mark, Rick and Mike,

I just got the convertible out of storage last Saturday. Cleaned it up and went the the Winsteads Cruise that night. Big crowd there. However,only about six Buicks showed. I would like to make the Belton Cruise this Saturday, but we will be out of town for the Memorial weekend. Mark, let me know when and where we can plan to get more Buicks at a cruise this summer.
