Just curious how your ATI Procharged project is coming along. I really want to go this route myself with my 70 Skylark. Especially curious about brackets and pulleys.
Thanks,
Scott

Scott,
If your skylark is 350 powered, check out the link in small block tech titled "The aluminum heads issue".
There's a little discussin in there about a new centrifugal supercharger for the 350...
The effort is being spear-headed by Mike Tweedy of Year-one.

Sorry to hear about that...no shortage of scumbag thieves in this world!!:af:
Well...if someone ends up using all those parts, it should get spotted in the Buick community pretty quick. Can't be many setups like that around!
Their day is coming!

Hi Guys,
Thanks All:) ......
Ed......I think I may as well start on this board....
BTW.......the serial number on the heads is 39914. As you can see this is when I was still working on them. Notice that the "top" head has the chambers opened up and the bottom one is awaiting it. They BOTH have the chambers done now. One head has brass tubes in the pushrod holes and is opened up in the intake ports there where you can see them quite plainly, the other has NOT had that done yet. The head bolt "bulges" are also extremely thinned to open the cross-section area there but HAVE NOT had tubes put in yet.
I AM OFFERING A $500 cash REWARD for the return of these and my other stuff........

Also........the exhaust ports are opened up almost fully with a small flat area at the bottom of the port exit....

Kerry.....i sure hope you've put the word out. Such specialty pieces are bound to turn up when the thieves try to sell / use them if enough people have their eyes open
I think when we find this person they should get a public stoning at the flag pole at BG On Raceday Sat. at high noon :blast:
Mebbe even sell rocks 3/$10 to raise money for the new block project
Sorry for your loss .....this sets the whole BUick community back, not just yourself !!

Alan,
We don't want to stone them, we want to tie them to the back of "Big Red" and take them for a full pass down the 1/4 mile:Brow:

If that happened to me being a cynical; old fart id have to wonder about my neighbors but then they are crack heads so you are probably not in the same position. I feel an appropriate punishment after being made to drive a yugo for 6 months would be a crash test dummy for life . Hope you get the stuff back .

Kerry,
I was wonding who did the injector boses on your intake and what it cost for the fuel rails, injectors, and the boss work. I've been toying around with the Idea but TA want's 3600 bones for the complete setup. :jd:
That's a bit out of my price range.

Hi Rich,
Wayne Young's Perfomance in Alabama (256)351-9949 did my conversion. He's a ATI Procharger guru (now into turbo too!!) in the Mustang PRO 5.0 ranks I got a buddy who works there and he did the work so I got a deal thru him. The regular cost for the conversion is $375 minus the injectors. Mine were 160lb/hr so they are more expensive than what you would need!:) I got them as a sale deal ($360) thru Precision Turbo and Engine when I purchased a Speed-Pro SEFI unit (about $4000).
Also.....the Wildcat intake already has the bosses cast there so that eliminates some of the cost as all that is needed is for them to be drilled and fitted.
I'm sure Mike T. will do a great job for a great price for you though!!!:TU:
Sorry I didn't respond earlier, I didn't see your new post. Anyway....Hope this helps.....

Hi Guys,
Thanks Jeff......Currently this entire project is on hold awaiting the arrival/release of the new 455 block. With what is planned I will definately need it! Plus the fact that last March my shop was broken into and my STG3 heads and the matching EFI converted Wildcat intake was stolen among many other things.:af: I'm currently waiting for TA to finish machining my new STG3's so I can get to porting them. I did score a brand new unused Wildcat on E-bay awhile back so I'll be needing to convert it too soon. So many things to do........
With that said, I've been trying to focus my attentions on getting my Regal project done but am anxiously awaiting the release of TA's new aluminum STG1 heads for it. :TU:

You can get a set of Ford Racing 30lb. per hour injectors from Summit for 219.00(they are just regular Bosh style injectors like all the others). Worked for me. They also have a 42lb. per hout version for 399.00 if you need bigger.
hope this helps.

Hi Jeff,
The "Power Elbow" (as they call it...) is from a Mustang company called Coast High Performance (310)784-1010, www.coasthigh.com for right at $140 (polished extra). This piece comes with a flat machined area directly on the top that has Coast High Mustang engraved into it. I machined this pad completely off. Also not pictured is a Accufab 90mm throttle body for this set-up too. The elbow is configured for the 4150 pattern. If you pick-up an issue of Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords you can find their full-color 2-page ads in every issue. You may be able to contact them about converting your intake for you as they do this regularly for all the Ford carb intakes. Worth a try...:Do No:
As for me....Wayne Young's Perfomance in Alabama (256)351-9949 did my FI conversion, made the rails and did all the machine work associated with, cost about $375 a couple of years back. You need to supply the fuel injectors that you will use so they can set the rail heigth and such.:TU:
Hope this helps....:)

What exactly do you plan on using for a PCM? is there something with this kit? I've thought about taking on a project like this for my 455, being that I have a machine shop at work and all. I looked at this PCM and am still considering it, www.megasquirt.info/ it has a lot of cool features, and they sell complete kits fairly inexpensively. The PCM from another factory vehicle could probably be made to work, but I can't imagine it would be as good as tuning one specifically for the engine. Also factory PCM's control oodles of other stuff, and they'll throw multi-level trouble codes and default into limp mode over some pretty silly things. The PCM has to "see" what it believes is the car it came in or it'll get grumpy. Tom
