Front Clip

Would it be possible to swap the front clip from a 77 Skylark with a 78 Nova front clip? If so how hard is the swap?

I am thinking about picking up a 77 skylark with front end damage, a guy down the road has a 78 nova with heavy rearend damage. He said I can have the front clip if it will work.

should bolt right on, may have to watch steering linkage clearance depending on which engine was in each, hoods, fenders are different, but the entire thing should swap, guessing 5-6 hrs work. Ben.
