Hello, My 72 GS has te original shift handle ( 5335) but a solid black knob instead of the correct ( I believe) "H" pattern black knob. Is my assumption correct or did the non console cars also come with n pattern?? Anyone out there have a nice H pattern ball they can part with? Thanks, Steve

Console cars had the pattern in the consolette and no console it was on the knob ! I think I have a new repo knob thats a little larger than original ,black with pattern I got a year or so . I think I paid like 35 and shipping. I'll see if I still have that one. I lost my camera at GB ( too many beers)!

no pattern on the balls for consolette cars. Yes a pattern is on non consolette cars. It is basically the same no pattern ball as Troy Thornton remakes for 442 cars.
